- A NEW COOLING PHILOSOPHY
Meeting
emission regulations with high quality performance requires
a very efficient cooling system.
This has been achieved efficiently with the new PowerTech
engines, where excellent heat dissipation promotes an
optimised complete combustion.

DUAL TEMPERATURE COOLING SYSTEM
To improve the cooling capacity of the PowerTech engines
and reduce fuel consumption, John Deereintroduces the
revolutionary Dual Temperature Cooling system.
This feature of the 6020 series tractors provides a large
sized main radiator and centralised, maintenance free
heat exchangers giving highly efficient cooling and
reducing
maintenance time and cost.
INTEGRATED COOLING SYSTEM WITH
POWRQUAD TRANSMISSIONS
The mechanical pump circulates the coolant from the High
temperature section (engine coolant) of the
radiator and separates approx. 10 % and re-directs it
to the low temperature section (transmission and inter
cooler)
where it is cooled down further.
SEPARATE COOLING SYSTEM WITH
AUTOPOWR TRANSMISSION An electrical pump is used to circulate
the low
temperature coolant to the Charge Air Cooler and the
Transmission/ Hydraulic Oil cooler.
