TRAINING PERSONNEL PARTY EVENTS
Richard Isert from John Deere visited Abomar last June 8-11,
2004 and conducted a technical training for the Abomar technical
team on the repair and maintenance program for the JDT8041 Tractor.
The change in the corporate direction from a product centered
organization to a customer centered organization required the
company to embark on the back-to-basic planning to refocus the
new team members of the Marketing group together with the key
personnel from the other departments in developing the skills
in marketing plan preparation.

The Abomar team embarked on a cruise last September 2003 as
part of the preparation for the Yr 2004 sales campaign.

On October 1975, he graduated from the tertiary level with
a degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and
when he got hold of his transcript of records, he pursued to
look for a job so he can apply the knowledge he had earned.
During that time, Aboitiz Marketing was in need of new personnel
to fill up vacant positions for Warehouse Division in Pasay
Branch. On November 1975, after passing the necessary examinations
and interviews, he was hired as a Parstman, handling the inventory
and control of stocks.
Many can attest to his dedication to his job that lead the way
for his promotion the following year as Counter Salesman, who
was then responsible for the sales of parts over the counter.
However, he was designated as a Warranty Analyst in the Service
Department to handle the warranty claims of all the products
of Aboitiz Marketing and Agrosystems. This gave him the opportunity
to further increase his knowledge, until the Service Manager
promoted him as Service Technical Assistant upon seeing his
dedication to his work. He assisted the Service Manager regarding
technical matters and service operations. And because of his
ability to easily adapt to any work assigned to him, his immediate
superior elevated him as a Control Service Supervisor, whose
function was to monitor all the service jobs done by all the
branches of Agrosystems nationwide.
Later, he was assigned to handle the Agrosystem Service Department
covering Luzon Area and was designated as Luzon Area Service
Supervisor. Being in that position was not an easy task, since
he was out of town or in the field work most of the time. Whenever
he was in the office he worked extra hard, since he was also
assigned to handle Warranty Claims of John Deere, analysis of
parts requirements of JD customers and assisting in sales of
JD tractors and implements within his area of responsibility.
A God-fearing man who had shown so much love and dedication
not only to his friends and family but also a job he was assigned
to fulfill. On this coming November 2000 marks the celebration
of his 25th year with Abomar Corporation. This man is no other
than MR. LAUREANO A. CASTILLO. Ronnie or sometimes Mang Ronnie
, as he is fondly called by his co-employees.
